Hermon - On Saturday, wreaths will be placed on veterans graves throughout the country.

It's Wreaths Across America Day, made possible by Worcester Wreath in Harrington and thousands of volunteers.

Two friends in the trucking industry are also a big part of the event.

These trucks aren't carrying normal loads.

" It's a great way for our industry, the trucking industry, to give back to our soldiers, " said Barry Pottle, president of Pottle's Transportation.

Among them , they have thousands of wreaths that will be placed on veterans graves across the country.

" It's a way for us to pay back and show our appreciation for what they've done," said Pottle.

Barry Pottle is president of Pottle's Transportation and he's been volunteering to deliver wreaths for four years.

" It's a great opportunity that we can do something to pay our respects," said Pottle.

Pottle's friend, Bob Baylor, is president of Baylor Trucking. His company is also a part of Wreaths Across America.

" I'm privileged and honored to be able to go to Arlington and put the wreaths on the graves there," said Baylor.

The trucks are en route to veterans cemeteries to meet up with dozens of other trucks carrying the same greenery. It's a small way to say thank you to people who gave big sacrifices for the country.

  1. You should contact them and try to organize a Menorah across America. Even get BTG involved doing the trucking.
